Amazing! Found some interesting old stuff in old houses, [Part 1]: Kodak Verichrome Pan (Black & White Panchromatic Film)

[Part 1]: Kodak Verichrome Pan (Black & White Film), Expired: Jun 1972

This is a Kodak classic Black & White Film which is the oldest film I've ever met, I found this historical thing in my grandfather's home. Kodak Verichrome Pan (Black & White Film), Model VP127 it's namely 127 firm. 127 firm is a roll film format for still photography introduced by Kodak in 1912.

There is a label "Develop Before: Jun 1972" on the box. This film is made by KODAK (Australasia) PTY. LTD. in MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. 127 film enjoyed mainstream popularity until its usage began to decline from the 1960s onwards.

127 film is a roll film, 46 mm wide. Frame number markings for the 4×4 and 4×6 image formats are printed on the backing paper, while 4×3 cameras typically have two frame counter windows, exposing the left and right halves of the 4×6 frame.

Unfortunately I couldn't found the original camera for this 127 firm, but I have found an example of camera which use the 127 firm, "Kodak Vest Pocket Camera".

There are more interesting old stuff, I'll continue to share more! Stay tuned :) Thanks for visit my BLOG.
